This week I found myself in an overstimulated spin.

As a mum, a teacher, a therapist, a partner, a friend, a sister, a daughter!

The list of jobs to do is endless, the pay is rubbish and the perks? Well! We had a blocked toilet so this week has been less than desirable.

Needless to say, when these moments occur it’s easy to allow the bad self talk to come sneaking in. To loose sense of self amongst the many titles  or responsibilities and to just “carry on”

This week however I was greeted with a few simple questions.

Given the opportunity to lean into a little of what I coin as  “cup of tea and a biscuit medicine” and figure out how to ask for support!

It started with these three questions and it ended with such an overflowing feeling of love and appreciation I just HAD to share.

What am I saying yes to when I really should be saying no?

• Who has the capacity to support me?

• How do i communicate when I need support?

I will leave those for you to peruse over the next 5minutes whilst the kettle boils.
